Background[]
Whiskers was a cat who was was a pet that died on nine different occasions, seemingly having come back to life for at-least eight of them. In 1855, Whiskers died of bad catnip, in 1856 they were killed by shoes, in 1857 they drank expired milk, in 1858 a hairball choked them to death, they died of unknown circumstanced twice in 1859, in 1860 a local dog killed them and in in 1861 they fell off the limb of a tree. Whiskers died for good in the year 1862 under unknown circumstances and was buried within the Pet Cemetery of the Haunted Mansion. It is unknown if those who buried it there were residents of the estate, lived in the area of the estate, or moved the cat post-mortem.

Whiskers had 9 dates of death, all of which are listed on their tomb but also all of which are difficult to make out with sometimes only 6 being visible at a given time. The centre of the plate has the 9th death and a circular epitaph.

Whiskers' tombstone can be found in the pet cemetery of the Haunted Mansion. It has a statue depicting the cat in-addition to a bronze plate holding the cat's epitaph. Unique to Whiskers' tomb, the epitaph plate is circular and mentions the 9 different years that Whiskers died. These deaths are listed as:
