  • The Magic Kingdom: A park themed around the original Disneyland.

  • The Animal Kingdom: This theme-park is themed around the animal kingdom including: modern animals and their conservation, prehistoric and otherwise extinct animals, and fictionalized animals like cryptids or aliens.
  • EPCOT: EPCOT or the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow was originally conceived by Walt Disney as an experimental colony built with the best technology of the time where real people would live and where corporations would be given properties to work side by side for the goal of innovation. Ultimately it just wound up being a theme-park divided between a Tomorrowland inspired Future World and a World Showcase themed around different parts of the world.

  • Typhoon Lagoon: Typhoon Lagoon is a water-park themed around the Floridian coastal town of Placid Palms which was hit by a sudden and violent typhoon, transforming it into a warped water wonderland.

Haunted Mansion Connections

The Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom opened with the park on October 1st, 1971. It was the second Haunted Mansion attraction to open at any Disney park, proceeding the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. It is built to resemble a Dutch Gothic mansion to match the late-17th century era of Liberty Square.

Memento Mori

Memento Mori is a gift shop in Liberty Square that exclusively sells Haunted Mansion merchandise. It opened on October 4th, 2014, replacing Yankee Trader. It was once the home and domain of Madame Leota, who came to Liberty Square after fleeing the witch trials in Salem. Many of her belongings can still be found in the shop, as well as a portrait of her.

Connections in other media

The Ghost Gallery

In the cast-member created Ghost Gallery backstory for the Haunted Mansion, Walt Disney World is treated as a real place within the Haunted Mansion's lore. The caretaker (here named Dick O'Dell) is an official cast-member and resident of Walt Disney World where the Haunted Mansion was relocated from its original home in New York. His dog Bony is also said to be a relative of other dogs found across the park.
