The Haunted Mansion: Frights of Fancy[]
Sydney is a new ghost arriving to the Mansion, a recently deceased hotel manager from Baton Rouge that comes to the Antebellum Mansion after the hotel she was haunting was torn down, arriving in the Ballroom and befriending Sally Slater and a mummy ghost. To earn her proper place among the Happy haunts, she is tasked by Constance Hatchaway to improve the haunting experience in the Mansion ahead of an anniversary event, assigning her to work with the Duelists, Alexander Nitrokoff, Uncle Theodore, Grams, Victor Geist, and "The Ghost Behind the Door". Her efforts in trying to push long time residents to improve the scaring ability of longtime residents end up putting many of the residents off and rumors circulate her arrival has resulted in ghosts actively leaving the Mansion. Discouraged, she ends up storming off to the Pet Cemetery and during conversations with the Ghost Behind the Door (possessing a tree), realizes that instead of trying to push everyone harder in being scarier, she needs to organize them in a way to better play to everyone's strengths. Doubling down on her bet with Constance and declaring she'll move onto the next plane if she fails, she formulates a haunting strategy that more or less follows the attraction experience while Uncle Theodore distracts Constance with conversation to keep her from interfering. The plan ends up being a huge success and Constance is impressed enough to offer her a full time position managing the hauntings.
