Disneyland 10th Anniversary[]

2003 Film[]

IMG 3634

A portrait reminiscent of the shifting eyed painting as it appears in the 2003 film with Jim Evers on the other side.

In the 2003 film, a portrait reminiscent of the shifting-eyes portrait appears at the beginning of the portrait corridor sequence. Here, rather than being a supernaturally possessed portrait with its own shifting eyes, the portrait is a secret-passageway where the eyes can be removed from behind. The shot shows a close-up of the portrait with Jim Evers removing the eye-piece from the other side and shifts his own eyes before opening up the secret door.

Trivia[]

  • It is possible that the portrait was a proto form of the Sinister 11 portraits who once had eyeballs made from ellipsoids so that they appeared to always watch guests.
