The SEA Mountaineer is an unnamed character found in Mystic Manor.
Description[]
This man was a mountaineer (or at-the-least, arctic/antarctic explorer) who was a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers during the 19th century. In the year 1899, he attended a Society meeting most notably alongside Lord Henry Mystic, Harrison Hightower III, and Captain Mary Oceaneer.

Theories and Identification[]
As most S.E.A. members are made to interconnect both new and pre-existing Disney attractions and properties, theories and speculation exist regarding the mountaineer's history and identity.
- Matterhorn Bobsleds: Matterhorn Bobsleds is a classic Tomorrowland/Fantasyland attraction in Disneyland. It is a rollercoaster ride themed around riding a bobsled through the twisting caverns and icy plateaus of the Matterhorn mountain in the Swiss alps; all while being pursued by the Yeti. The possible indication of the Matterhorn being the mountaineer's attraction is its affiliation with cold-climate mountain-climbing, even having cast-members climb its exterior for guests to see.
- Expedition Everest: Expedition Everest is a rollercoaster attraction found in the Asia themed, "land" of the Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. This ride is set on the fictional Forbidden Mountain of the Himalayas, adjacent to Mount Everest. Guests board tea-trains passing through the mountain, repurposed by the Himalayan Escapes company from the village of Serka Zong at the mountain's base. The guests then find themselves being hunted down by the yeti, the legendary protector of the mountain whose identity is shrouded in mystery between being animal or mystical. Similarly to the Matterhorn, the ride's cold-climate mountain theming could be indication of a connection.
- A book written by Harrison Hightower III in the Skipper Canteen revolves around his travels in Everest, searching for the yeti; directly referencing Expedition Everest in its title.
- Unseen S.E.A. member:
- Sango Shio: Sango Shio was a senior SEA member who was active during the late 19th century, when the mountaineer would have been. First named in the Skipper Canteen, Sango Shio signed the certificate of Dr. Albert Falls' discovery of the Cambodian ruins back in 1888.
- Chef Tandaji: Chef Tandaji is another character first named in the Skipper Canteen. He was active since the early 1910s and by the 1930s he would become known as a chef.
