Located in the Corridor of Doors, Room 999 (or Room 666 when the numbers flip when entered) is the most dangerous room in the Mansion that even the resident ghosts fear entering. It is distinguished from other doors in the Mansion's halls by three skull shaped locks that lock visitors inside. Inside the room is a dark void that materializes the greatest fears of whoever enters it. Within the room, Gonzo is confronted with a magic mirror with a rapidly aging doppleganger of himself representing his loneliness and fears that people only value him for his dangerous stunts, before morphing into said decaying specter. Seeing the Muppet Halloween party through the magic mirror, Kermit's words remind him that he doesn't need to be "The Great Gonzo" for his friends to think he's great and as Gonzo acknowledges his fears of loneliness, relevance, and being unable to see his friends again, the skulls begin to unlock the door, allowing Gonzo to escape back into the Mansion's foyer.
