
The Scarecrow found outside of the Antebellum mansion
The Pumpkin King Scarecrow is an item found outside of the Haunted Mansion during Haunted Mansion Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare.
Origins[]
The scarecrow originates from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) where it was used by Jack Skellington as a sort of Halloween-costume, connecting to his title as, "The Pumpkin King". It had a sign sticking from its back labelled, "Halloween Town".
Other Appearances[]
- In the Tim Burton film Sleepy Hollow (1999), the scarecrow appears in a field outside of Sleepy Hollow during the intro sequence where the Headless Horseman makes his first kill.

Haunted Mansion Holiday[]
In the Disneyland version of the seasonal overlay, the scarecrow can be found outside of the mansion dressed as, "Santy Claws" and covered in red Christmas lights.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare[]
The scarecrow makes a similar appearance in the Tokyo Disneyland version of the mansion, albeit wearing an outfit closer to that from the original film.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if within the story of the attraction, Jack is supposedly hiding within the scarecrow costume to watch guests as he is in the original film.
