Appearances[]

Muppets Haunted Mansion[]

Pepe accompanies Gonzo to the Haunted Mansion, under the impression that his Halloween challenge invitation is for a Hollywood Halloween party where he can meet a bunch of celebrities. He initially dismisses the hauntings of the Mansion as elaborate special effects and animatronics until a frightening encounter with a creature disguised as John Stamos lurking in a "Famous Peoples Room" and the "Life Hereafter" production number put on by the Mansion's happy haunts in the Ballroom. Pepe ends up splitting off from Gonzo after Constance Hatchaway takes an interest in him and takes him to the Attic. Plotting to make Pepe her sixth husband and cooking him into a gumbo, Constance and Pepe have a duet ("Tie the Knot Tango") while her previous husbands try to warn him of what he's getting into. Fattened up and drunk on fermented spider-filled grapes, Pepe accepts the proposal and Constance calls on Uncle Deadly to officiate the wedding. After learning what's happened from the Ghost Host and with time running out at sunrise, Gonzo rescues Pepe from the wedding and the two escape from the Attic window and narrowly make it to the front gate, where the Ghost Host congratulates them and reveals his true self. As Gonzo and Pepe return home to attend the Muppets post-Halloween breakfast, they are followed home by the Hitchhiking Ghosts.

Other[]

Pepe helped promote Muppets Haunted Mansion in an overlay of the Muppet*Vision 3D pre-show at Disney's Hollywood Studios, introducing a trailer and a clip from the special to do so[1].
