Mystic Magneto-Electric Carriages are the vehicles used in the attraction Mystic Manor.

History[]

The Mystic Magneto-Electric Carriages are trackless vehicles which are able to achieve locomotion via electro-magnetism. They were supposedly invented by one Lord Henry Mystic and were presented to the world at the L'Exposition Universelle de Paris (Paris Exposition) on July 19, 1900. At the exposition, the invention (and inventor) won the first prize.

Lord Henry would go on to import his Magneto-Electric Carriages to his new home in Mystic Point, Papua New Guinea. The carriages would come to be used to aid in tours through his home of Mystic Manor which he opened up to guests in the year 1908.

Trivia[]

  • A note left by Lord Mystic in the Explorer's Club Restaurant mentions how American Henry Ford was taken with the invention and was inspired to build one with gasoline in-stead of magnets. This would mean that Lord Henry Mystic indirectly inspired Henry Ford's own automobiles.
    • It should be noted that counter to popular belief, the automobile was not invented by Henry Ford, nor the assembly line. The first gasoline car was created by one Karl Benz (co-founder of Benz-Mercedes) and put on display at the Paris World's Fair in 1889. What Henry Ford did was create cars which could be mass-produced in assembly-lines.
