Mrs. Hatchaway is the mother of Constance Hatchaway who appeared in Disney Kingdoms' Haunted Mansion comics and was referenced in the Ghost Post.

The Ghost Post[]
One of the items sent to subscribers of the Ghost Post was an invitation to the wedding of Constance and the Marquis de Doome in 1874. The invitation also mentioned her husband Mr. Hatchaway and showed a Hatchaway family crest with two crossed axes.
Disney Kingdoms[]
In this comic-book, Constance's mother appeared in a back-flash to Constance's wedding in the attic of the Haunted Mansion from Constance's wedding to George Hightower in 1877. It has been suggested that her appearance in this comic is modelled after the elderly Constance seen in the stretching-room, a character originally named Abigail Patecleaver.

- In the Ghost Gallery, the Black Widow's mother was an unnamed woman called Mrs. Gilbert who was implied to have died or left early on into her life with the Black Widow's stepmother being the only maternal figure mentioned in her life. She died along with her husband at some point between 1872 and 1874, leaving a teenaged Constance to care for Asa Gilbert, Constance's half-brother.
