Lord Albert Dunswallop is the protagonist of the comic story "Big Game". He holds the dubious distinction of being Ghost Number 992.
Background[]
Lord Dunswallop was a highly accomplished adventurer and monster hunter. For over 22 years with his chronicler Perkins, he traveled the world collecting beasts for his trophy collection such as the Scarlet-Humped Orangutan, Dune Leopard, Slandered Bull-Squid, Swamp Ape, Panthekeet, Skunk Python, Muske-Goat, mummies, Frankenstein's Monster, and vampires, with a ghost being just about the one creature he hadn't yet personally wrestled into submission and mounted to his wall.
Aware of Gracey Manor's reputation of being home to nearly "a thousand lost souls", Lord Dunswallop and Perkins set off to hunt a ghost. Entering the Grand Hall and surveying possible prey, he passes on Phineas, Ezra, the Beheaded Knight, and the Mummy before settling on the Executioner. After Perkins questions how he'll even be able to capture a ghost, Lord Dunswallop reveals he has already drunk poison to "temporarily" separate his spirit and body in order to grab a ghost and stuff him into a bag, with his corpse lying behind Perkins in the hall. As Lord Dunswallop makes a grand entrance to wrestle a ghost, the partygoers and Madame Leota welcome him as Ghost 992 and spirit him away into the party, leaving Perkins to drag out his corpse and seek new work.
