Gracey is a character that is a part of the discontinued 2015 Disney Parks merchandise line of dolls called Attractionistas which are all inspired by Disney Parks rides from all around the parks. She also comes with her pet bat Grimm.
Description[]
History[]
The idea behind the Attractonistad doll-line is that a group of friends went to the Disney Parks. During the castle fireworks they made a wish to be a part of their favourite attraction and thanks to a magical shooting star, their dreams came true.
Gracey's favourite attraction was, of-course, The Haunted Mansion and as-such she was transformed into a seemingly undead maid for the mansion. She also gained a pet bat named Grimm from this.
Gracey apparently holds personal relationships with the Ghost Host and Singing Busts and she apparently works as an interior-designer for the gothic estate.
Appearance[]
Gracey is a teenaged girl with bright green eyes, black nails, and a pale purple skin. Her hair is also a mauve/purple colour with a dark streak. Her final doll had a different gradient of hair and paler, less-violet skin.
In artwork, Gracey dresses in a Victorian inspired wardrobe. She has a long skirt of a ruffled design, a crude corset made from belts, a coat with bone-like buckles, and fingerless gloves. Her colour-scheme is a combination of light purple, mauve/magenta, and purple navy.
She also wears a small top-hat with an attached veil. The pattern of her tights and head-band are the iconic wallpaper found within the attraction.
Gracey's final doll replaced the purple-navy with a green resembling that worn by servants in the ride. Furthermore her mauve ruffles were replaced with those of a light brown colour. The cameo on her to-hat was also removed.

Personality[]
Her box says "Gracey loves the night and things that go bump there in. She enjoys being different. But she is always there when her pals need a kind reassuring voice in scary situations.
She is also a killer interior designer along with her lovely bat Grimm. She can decorate a room that's to die for! At the Haunted Mansion Attraction, the Ghost Host and Singing Busts are just like old pals that she feels like she's known for an eternity."
Friends[]
Gracey is friends with the other Attractionistas, each of whom is based on a Disney Parks attraction which was open at the time of the line's creation. This includes:
- Carrie: An equestrian themed around the King Arthur Carousel/Prince Charming Regal Carrousel in Fantasyland.
- Nellie:
- Pearl: Pearl is an adventure-obsessed pirate themed around the Pirates of the Caribbean.
- Celeste: A space-loving (possibly alien) girl who is themed around Space Mountain in Tomorrowland.
- Maddie: An English girl with a love for the curious and exciting. She is themed after the Mad Tea Party spinning tea-cups attraction in Fantasyland.
- Holly: Holly, like Gracey, is a girl with a love for the horrific and mysterious, in addition to old cinema. She is themed around the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and was sold exclusively in California's Tower of Terror.
- Briar: Briar is a fun-loving girl who was themed around the soon-to-be-defunct attraction Splash Mountain.
Trivia[]
- She is named after Master Gracey and the semi-official Gracey Family who take their respective names from late-Disney imagineer, Yale Gracey.
- For a short amount of time this doll was sold only at the Disney Parks in Main Street or in Haunted Mansion Themed shops till discontinued in 2016.
- This line of Doll is Disney's response to the very popular at the time Mattel Doll line "Monster High".
- Her pet, "Grimm"'s name is not only a play on the word grim but also may be an allusion to the Brothers Grimm who documented and revised many of the fairy-tale stories which Disney adapts.
