Gabrielle Ravenswood is an unused character who was created for Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris.
Original Story[]
Gabrielle Ravenswood was the young-wife of Arthur Ravenswood, the co-owner of the Big Thunder Mining Company in Thunder Mesa. Not long after 1860 when an earthquake devastated Thunder Mesa and killed Arthur's brother Henry, Arthur became a sickly recluse who was tended to by Gabrielle. Following Arthur's death in 1867, Gabrielle would die a year later of what was identified as, "A broken heart".
Gabrielle's tomb would have been found in the Boot Hill cemetery in a crypt alongside her husband's remains. Like the other planned characters of Phantom Manor, she would have also been referenced throughout Frontierland.[1]
Legacy[]
The unbuilt crypt in Boot Hill which was intended to hold Arthur and Gabrielle still has a visible base in the ride's exit.
