The Fur Trapper is a character found in Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris.
Description[]
This man was a fur-trapper who hunted animals for their pelts in the Thunder Mesa area during the 1860s. On November 13th of the year 1865, the hunter was mauled and eaten by a bear for the bear's dinner. The trapper would later be buried with a wooden tombstone in Boot Hill nearby Ravenswood Manor although the bear would keep his hat as its own trophy.

The Fur Trapper's wooden tombstone can be found with an epitaph referencing him as, "Dinnertime" along with the bear's animal victims and the tombstone of the bear itself.
Trivia[]
- The trapper's coonskin cap might be an allusion to Davy Crockett as he was portrayed in the 1950s Disney serials of the same name. This serial being one of the predominate forces behind the creation of Disneyland's Frontierland and the caps becoming a staple of the park.
