The four Frackles seen in Muppets Haunted Mansion
Frackles are a group of Muppet monsters that first appeared in 1977's The Great Santa Claus Switch.
Background[]
Debuting as the Christmas stealing henchmen of the magician Cosmo Scam in The Great Santa Claus Switch, the Frackles have primarily served as nameless utility players identified by color within the Muppets ensemble. However, some of them ended up rising through the ranks in major roles such as the giant Thog, Droop, and The Great Gonzo himself. The Frackles would additionally serve as inspiration for the title characters of Fraggle Rock, with Fraggle being coined specifically as a softer gentler version of the word "Frackle". In 2001, a named green Frackle character, Mo Frackle, would serve as a representative of the species in a Muppet appearance on Family Feud.
Frackles are generally shown as furry creatures with beak-like snouts and bushy eyebrows. Additionally, some Frackles have toothy smiles or large ears.
Appearances[]

- Purple Frackle as a ghost taking on the form of John Stamos as a daft disguise to terrorize Pepe the King Prawn that later appears in the Ballroom.
- Jade Green Frackle as a living guest in the Ballroom.
- Pink Frackle as a ghost in the Ballroom.
Trivia[]
- Director Kirk Thatcher explained his reasoning for having several corporeal Muppet monsters in the Mansion as being that simply, monsters are always welcome there without having to participate in a fear challenge.
