During the 1880s, Artemus L. Hector was the mayor of the town Thunder Mesa in Arizona.

Phantom Manor[]
Following the 2019 refurbishment of the attraction, Artemus L. Hector partook in the reopening of Phantom Manor. At the grand reopening, he spoke to townsfolk from the Mark Twain Riverboat as Ravenswood Manor was reopened.[1]
Thunder Mesa Daily Messenger[]
Artemus first appeared in the 2016 newspaper, "Rivers run again" and proceeded to appear throughout Thunder Mesa related stories.
