Esteban Pine and M. Dibjib were two people who were close with the family that owned the Haunted Mansion in New Orleans. For some reason, Esteban was affiliated with a discontent for having to wait in lines. It is unknown how or when Esteban died but he was buried in a shared tomb with Dibjib.
History []
The tombstone of Esteban Pine was one of four new tombs installed into the family-plot in the October of 2016 alongside the reinstallation of the original tombstones after their absence for many years. Esteban's tombstone is a tribute to imagineer Steve Pinedo.
Trivia []
- It is unknown what his relationship was with M. Dibjib that would validate them being buried side-by-side. As Esteban's epitaph affiliated him as having been a, "Loyal friend" is is possible they were friends but it is unknown if the epitaph is referring to the relationship with Dibjib specifically. It is also possible that they were family-members or romantic-partners.
