The Christmas Tree is a piece of decoration found in Haunted Mansion Holiday and in Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare.
Description[]
The Christmas Tree is a large, leafless, bare, withered tree with a twisted top and branches resembling claws. It is decorated with eerie candles, ornaments resembling jack-o'lanterns, and a large asymmetric star pulling down the tree's top.
The tree considerably resembles a vision which Sally had in the film, The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). In this vision, she saw a Christmas tree set on fire causing it to become a bare, leafless wreck. This vision is turned into a changing portrait in Disneyland's Portrait Corridor and a Sinister 11 portrait in that of Tokyo Disneyland.
Appearances[]
The tree appears in the ballroom sequence where ghosts are throwing a macabre Christmas celebration. Jack Skellington's ghost dog Zero can be seen floating above the tree as the celebrations go on.
There are multiple pseudo-Christmas trees found throughout the ride as-well. One of these trees can be found in this attic at both parks, being made from the tail of the giant snake. The other can only be found in Tokyo and is made from several haunted books in the library being spun around by Zero.
