The Brotherhood of Souls is a splinter-faction of the villainous Order of Shadows. It was founded by Madame Leota after having been manipulated into joining the Order by its leader Atticus Thorn. Thorn wished to steal the Beacon of Souls to conquer the lands of living and death while Leota's brotherhood dedicated itself to protecting the beacon.
