The ballroom is a large hall located in the 2003 film's Gracey Manor.

Description[]

The ballroom is a massive hall with Victorian elements. It has a massive chandelier and an exquisite set of furnishings.

A giant fireplace was located in one end. This large fireplace was big enough to heat the ballroom. On another end is a set of grand staircases, wherein a pipe organ sat in the middle. The ballroom also serves as the house' dining room.

History[]

The ballroom is where many events in Gracey Manor were held.

During George Gracey's ownership, he expanded the manor. The ballroom itself was part of it, along with portrait galleries and a conservatory. During a trip to Europe, George and his wife Abigail purchased the furnishings and art. The fireplace, a statuary, and a massive pipe organ under restoration, which were among the purchases originally came from a Scottish landowner's estate, which had burned to the ground, leaving only the said items as the surviving furnishings. The locals apparently thought the landowner was evil and his house was cursed, so George was able to acquire the extraordinary fireplace at a very low price.

Due to Abigail's passion and interest for music, George purchased the pipe organ. Upon their return to America, the pipe organ and fireplace were installed in this ballroom and George moved the small organ to the attic. The ballroom would soon be the setting for countless parties, masked balls, and their annual Mardi Gras fêtes.
